Since he recently released an interview after a long time, I wrote a piece about Dave Chappelle and his successful TV show, that he famously ended at the turn of the 3rd season. The whole story reminds me a lof of one of Spike Lee’s least acclaimed joints, Bamboozled. Read the article and see.

Last Saturday I went to Den Haag to check out Todaysart festival, which – despite the initial feeling of chaos and sloppiness – left me with a pretty good impression. Today my prompt report has been published on the Impakt blog, focusing on urban exploration as a reclamation of the right to the city. Check it out here.

I know Jelle Kamsma because we studied together at UvA, plus we’re friends. So, after he got a job at NU.nl as a data journalist – and I started blogging for Impakt – an interview about what he’s doing was around the corner. Read the whole article here,it’s quite juicy.

I’m still writing for the Impakt blog, the core topic being The Right to Know. This week’s contribution is focused on the transparency of revolutionary networks and how this becomes an ambiguous and potentially dangerous aspect of their use. Read the whole thing here.

The new issue of Off Beat Cinema is out and it looks pretty good. Among the many interesting articles you can find one of mine, namely a review of Attack the Block. It’s the first episode of a film/architecture column I’m gonna share with John Bezold, so stay tuned for the next chapters. Go read the magazine here and, if you live in Amsterdam, find it in your favorite movie theater.
